ABOUT THE SURFTONES
The “Surftones” formed in 1980 and became Southern California’s original and most authentic 60’s band. They have since grown into one of the most sought-after and recognizable surf ensembles, offering “instro-surf” and 60’s classics from Chuck Berry to Jimi Hendrix and The Doors. They are now best known for their re-creation of vocal surf songs from the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, and others, displaying intricate harmonies. The “Surftones” have played hundreds of concerts for Cities, Parks, Piers, small and large venues, as well as corporate events.
