ONE-TIME PAYMENT PORTAL

  • Visitors no longer need to download the Laguna Beach Parking app to make payments. Residents/Visitors can now scan the QR code on the meter or at the pay station, enter their license plate and parking space number and pay onsite via a credit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay, without having to download an app to their phone. Existing or new customers can continue to use the Laguna Beach Parking app, the one-time payment portal is just an option to make it easier to pay for parking.

Parking METERs

Daily metered street parking is available and enforced from 8am-9pm at all meters. Credit cards and quarters are accepted at all parking meters. Rates range from $3.30 - $5.90 per hour. Most meters have a 3-hour limit. Please note: if there is a time restriction on a meter, you must move your car to a new spot once you have reached the limit, you may not re-feed that meter. 

What to do if the parking meter is broken:

  • To report a broken parking meter, please call the police non-emergency line at (949) 497-0701. Please provide the letter and number of the specific meter.

  • You can park at the broken meter for the designated time; however, please be advised that if our staff determines the meter is operational, you will be responsible for any citations issued.

  • For assistance with troubleshooting the parking app, making a one-time payment, or processing a card payment, please contact the Parking Division at (949) 497-0349 or the Administrative line at (949) 497-0306.

HOURS OF ENFORCEMENT

  • Hours of paid parking (on- street meters and off- street parking lots) referenced above, and along Laguna Canyon Road to Canyon Acres Drive, including the Frontage Road, will extended from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. during the summer festival season.

  • The courtesy time allowance will be extended from five to ten minutes.

  • The existing 3-hour parking limit will be eliminated after 5 p.m.

PERIPHERAL PARKING LOTS – LOW COST AND FREE ALL DAY PARKING

Canyon Route: Service on Laguna Canyon Road from Lot 16 - Act V peripheral parking lots to summer art festivals and downtown. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week. Frequency: Every 20 minutes.

Coastal Route:  Service on Coast Highway between North Laguna/Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/Mission Hospital and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week. Frequency: Every 20-40 minutes.

Summer Breeze:  Service on Laguna Canyon Road from free peripheral parking lot at 16355 Laguna Canyon Road in Irvine to art festivals and downtown. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Frequency: Every 30 minutes. For more information: Click Here

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The City of Laguna Beach offers a FREE mobile app that shows the location of all City trolleys in real time. The Laguna Beach Trolley app is available on Apple and Android Stores.

Lot 16 – Act V will accommodate $25 Summer Festival Parking Permit holders, $50 Premier Permit holders and one-time Passport to the Arts coupon. Summer Festival and Premier Parking Permits are available for purchase at the Community and Susi Q Center at 380 3rd St starting on June 3, 2024. Only Festival/Playhouse Artists and Employees are eligible for the Premier Parking Permit.
