BOOTH PAINTING
If you wish LAAF to paint your booth for you, these are two options. Whichever option you choose, it includes the installation of your light bar, whether supplied by you or rented from LAAF. Not included is the installation and painting of any baseboards/moldings (solely exhibitor responsibility).
Option 1: LAAF supplied paint.
LAAF will supply the paint and labor to paint your booth with the “house off-white” color typical of the main walls and end caps.
Option 2: Artist supplied custom color paint.
Laguna Art-A-Fair shall paint your booth a maximum of 2 coats of one-color latex paint of your choice. You provide the paint and LAAF will paint your booth. This shall be “straight” painting - no texturing, design, two tone, swirls, etc. If you choose an extreme designer color*, an additional fee is required.
The recommended amount of paint to ensure complete coverage is: ½ & ¾ booths - 1 gallon; full, 1¼ & 1½ booths - 2 gallons. Any remaining paint will be left in your booth.
What constitutes an extreme color? Otherwise known as Designer, fluorescent, translucent, etc. One way to tell is if your paint company used a medium or deep tint base, bingo! Light yellow, green, blue are all colors that will bleed from behind. Basically anything other than your off whites, tans and such that will require a third coat, are considered needing the added cost to paint the extra coat.
You are to deliver the paint and light bar to the LAAF grounds no sooner than 9am on Volunteer Day. If the paint and light bar are not delivered by that time, Laguna Art-A-Fair shall not be responsible for painting your booth or installing the light bar. If the paint provided is not enough to cover the booth, you will be notified and asked to provide additional paint. The paint can(s) and light bar are to be clearly identified with your name and booth number marked with permanent marker or label. The name/label shall be on the back of the light bar and on the TOP of the paint cans.
