About Barbara Kimmel-Palmer
Barbara Kimmel-Palmer began painting with oils and has used both oil and watercolor for thirty years. A retire elementary
school teacher, Barbara ran the district after-school art program for many years and continues to give workshops and
classes in both California and her new home in Prescott, Arizona. Her work has been in several California
galleries and the Rowland Heights, CA School District proudly sports five large murals by Barbara. Kimmel-Palmer enjoys
using a wet-into-wet technique which she then develops into a more realistic image. Some of her favorite subjects are
children at play, florals, seascapes, underwater scenes and shells.
