Pegah was born and grew up in Tehran, Iran.  Pegah’s art moves through the shadow of her past life. She uses art as a tool to face her personal experiences she and other women’s harsh rules and limitations in a culture dominated by patriarchal governments and households. Her early experiences in Iran changed her perception about the role of women in society; they motivated her and influenced her way of talking about women. Her work encompasses psychological aspects of these suffering women’s lives.  Pegah’s art is her voice to talk about her feelings and experiences.

She studied drawing and painting under the guidance of master Iranian artists. She received her BFA with honors from the prestigious Laguna College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach, CA.

Pegah is running her own atelier in Orange County. She is a member of the American  Women Artists Association. She has been featured in numerous publications. She is a long time member of the Iranian Women Artists. She has grown her artwork through galleries and exhibitions.
