Artist: de Bellechasse
My bronze adventure began while studying garden design in Paris. Inspired by the beauty of the fabulous fountains and sculptures, I spent a year sculpting at the Atelier de la Miroitrie, did an internship at the Fonderie Paul Flury, then enrolled in the Ateliers des Beaux Arts de Paris, studying sculpture and moulding techniques.
Receiving a commission to create a piece for a friend in London led me to the Bronze Age Foundry whose team has broadened my knowledge and deepened my love affair with bronze.
In July and August of 2017, I was invited to open the Gallerie du Moulin in Parcé sur Sarthe, France and awarded the Prix des Ecoles at the Hélène Bertaux sculpting competition.
My studio is located in the Loire Valley, France and pieces are currently at the Limehouse Gallery in London, and in private collections in the UK, Paris and the US.
