I am an artist who paints several genres; Landscapes, Industrial Subjects and Transportation.
Illustrating my impressions of the environment around me, allows me to make a statement about our world. I often see hidden significance in a worn out object which captivates me and compels me to paint it.
I experiment with subjects; moving horizon lines up and down, changing the perspective of my landscapes to make them interesting. Or I paint an industrial subject ready for demolition; its last hurrah representing the remnants of the industrial revolution and our changing world.
My preferred mediums are oil, watercolor, pencil and graphite. I graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and learned the value of developing strong concepts for each body of work so I typically create artworks in a series in lieu of individual pieces.
I am a Signature Member of The National Watercolor Society and my artwork has been in shows with collectors throughout the U.S.A.
