About Mariann Brewer What an adventure. I started in corporate America and ended up doing what I have always dreamed of, painting watercolors landscapes of all the wonderful places I have grown to love. From the very first time I picked up a brush I knew art would always be part of my life. Then came marriage and a family plus 30 years of designing communications systems for ATandT. Art had become a low priority. One night six years ago I started painting miniature landscapes for two friends. Was the other side of my brain still working? The very next day I was off to the local craft store and I purchased a small 16-color box of watercolors. Three months later I was selling my watercolor paintings in Huntington and Laguna Beach. My paintings are all miniature and very detailed with fine strokes, outstanding colors with lots of love. Seldom is my original art displayed in frames larger than 8.5 X 10 inches.
