Art-A-Fair’s Preview Night Celebrates its 2011 Artists

June 23, 2011 – Laguna Beach, CA – Art-A-Fair, the finer arts festival in Laguna Beach, held its annual Preview Night on June 22. More than 2,000 guests attended the event, hosted by Art-A-Fair’s 125 artists. The evening celebrated the artists and their art as well as the festival’s 45th season, which officially begins tomorrow, June 24.

Art-A-Fair artists join together each year to present a special event for friends of Art-A-Fair and patrons of the arts. Preparing for months in advance, their newest fine art and master crafts were on exhibit for guests to view and enjoy. The wide range of art in all mediums and convivial atmosphere provided a memorable evening for guests.

“Art-A-Fair’s Preview Night kicked off our 2011 season with terrific attendance and excitement. Our artists have worked for many months to get ready for the show, and last night’s enthusiastic reaction to their works of art as well as high sales volume was gratifying to all. We look forward to a summer season of visitors enjoying the breadth of art at Art-A-Fair,” said Mike Cahill, President of Art-A-Fair’s Board of Directors.

This year’s exceptional art in all mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, ceramics, glass, jewelry, photography and wood, offers something for every visitor. Patrons can enjoy the wildlife photography of returning artist, Bob Ross, the watercolors of Russian artist Natalia Ereyemeva-Duarte, new to the Art-A-Fair family, and the award-winning oils of Susan Driscoll, to name just a few. The welcoming atmosphere, in combination with artists who truly love to speak about their work with visitors, promises a delightful visit to Art-A-Fair.
