FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 17, 2011 – Laguna Beach, CA – Art-A-Fair, the finer arts festival in Laguna Beach, will admit all visitors free of charge during its Customer Appreciation Weekend, August 27 and 28, the festival’s final weekend of the summer season.
Despite the weak economy, visitors and residents have come to Art-A-Fair all summer long and purchased many works of art from the Festival’s 125 artists. As a result, attendance and sales have been high and Art-A-Fair wishes to give back to its patrons.
“Our Customer Appreciation Weekend celebrates the generosity of our visitors. We invite them to come back and enjoy another visit ‘on us’,” said Mike Cahill, President of the Board of Directors. “Art-A-Fair has seen an increase in attendance and sales over last year, and we think this is due to visitors’ loyalty and support of our artists who exhibit millions of dollars of art,” Cahill stated.
The hunt has been on every day for Arty, Art-A-Fair’s 45th Anniversary mascot, with daily winners taking home exceptional pieces of art created by Art-A-Fair’s juried artists. The hunt will continue with multiple hidings throughout Customer Appreciation Weekend. Bring the kids (they’re very good at finding Arty) and if you find him, you’ll take home your very own exceptional piece of Art-A-Fair art.
During Customer Appreciation Weekend, the final weekend of the season, Art-A-Fair will be open Saturday from 10am-10pm and Sunday from 10am-6 pm. Parking is available at Act V, just a short distance north on Laguna Canyon Road, with free shuttle service to Art-A-Fair, located at 777 Laguna Canyon Road.
